Chicago PMI is a regional manufacturing survey that is helpful in predicting national trends. Chicago PMI is reported like the national ISM where above 50% is expansion and below 50% is contraction. The report is released by the Chicago Purchasing Mangers Association and is released on the last business day of the month at 9:45 eastern standard time.
