Empire State Manufacturing Survey is conducted by the New York Fed of 175 CEO's and President's of manufacturing companies. A quesionnaire is sent that polls the executives on various aspects of their business to help qantify economic growth. The report is limited to New York State, but the reports is viewed as a sample for the manufacturing health of the economy.
