Factory Orders measures durable and non-durable goods orders. The report is predictable because durable goods is known making non-durable the only unknown. Non-durables include food and related products which stay consistent month to month. The report is released by the Department of Commerce on the first business day of the month at 10:00 eastern standard time for the prior two months. The raw data can be found here.
